Sojourn TRC provides services to students who are at risk and have behavioral issues that prevent them from experiencing success in the classroom. Sojourn TRC’s Equine Assisted Learning in Education (EAL-E) program offers support to students who have challenging IEP goals through a Life Skills curriculum that has been designed to re-engage students back into the academic process.
Additionally, Life Skills classes are designed, utilizing the ranch and horses, to support Common Core Standards.
Equine Assisted Learning in Education has a remarkable impact on human growth and development for children who struggle with negative behaviors, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, and challenges with cultivating positive relationships with others. The EAL-E Life Skills curriculum provides students with a program that is innovative and effective.
